Accurate Antibody Testing

Our test, using Abbott Labs’ advanced antibody testing methods, is a simple blood draw that is over 99.9% accurate at correctly detecting COVID-19 antibodies 17 or more days after symptoms began. The test we are using, the Abbott  SARS-CoV-2 IgG assay, is FDA Authorized and provides  higher accuracy than finger-prick antibody tests.

FDA-Authorized Antibody Test

Our team at Low T Center uses an FDA-authorized antibody test. The  test meets the strict guidelines for detecting COVID-19 antibodies required under the FDA’s Emergency Use Authorization. This authorization makes this test available to use during this public health emergency based on clinical trials and scientific research that measure the safety and validity of the test.

There are currently no FDA-approved or FDA-cleared COVID-19 antibody tests, as none have undergone the stringent review protocols and totality of evidence required by the FDA for approval or clearance.
