For your convenience, our team now offers advanced antibody testing during your other visits to streamline the process and help determine if you have already been exposed to and recovered from COVID-19. Our test is simple, practical, and affordable to help you learn if your body has developed antibodies in response to the virus.
Antibody tests also include a complimentary vitamin B-12 injection to thank you for taking the test to learn if you have been exposed and taking an active part in helping stop the spread of coronavirus. B-12 injections may help support your immune system and enhance your overall wellness and energy levels.
Antibodies and Your Immunity
While studies are ongoing, research suggests that coronavirus antibodies may provide some level of immunity. With most viruses, once you have been infected, your immune system starts developing antibodies to fight the infection and prevent reinfection. Once these antibodies are in your system, many scientists believe you will have some level of immunity from the virus for some period of time, though more is learned about this novel coronavirus everyday.

Accurate Antibody Testing
Our test, using Abbott Labs’ advanced antibody testing methods, is a simple blood draw that is over 99.9% accurate at correctly detecting COVID-19 antibodies 17 or more days after symptoms began. The test we are using, the Abbott SARS-CoV-2 IgG assay, is FDA Authorized and provides higher accuracy than finger-prick antibody tests.
Antibodies help your body fight infection. When you’re exposed to infection, the human body normally develops antibodies as an immune response. Our antibody test determines if your blood has developed antibodies in response to the COVID-19 coronavirus.
FDA-Authorized Antibody Test
Our team at Low T Center uses an FDA-authorized antibody test. The test meets the strict guidelines for detecting COVID-19 antibodies required under the FDA’s Emergency Use Authorization. This authorization makes this test available to use during this public health emergency based on clinical trials and scientific research that measure the safety and validity of the test.
There are currently no FDA-approved or FDA-cleared COVID-19 antibody tests, as none have undergone the stringent review protocols and totality of evidence required by the FDA for approval or clearance.
