We will start with a health assessment and a discussion about the symptoms you are experiencing. If it seems as though you might have sleep apnea, we will give you a home sleep test to take with you. We want your experience with us to be as convenient and comfortable as possible, and with our home sleep test, you do not have to spend the night in an unfamiliar sleep lab. The test is simple to perform and should not interfere with your ability to sleep. We’ll give you easy to follow instructions for using the test.

The test will collect data while you are sleeping for us at Low T Sleep Center in Tyler. Based on these results, our Tyler sleep apnea doctor can determine whether you have sleep apnea. We can get results to you quickly.

Your Personalized Treatment Plan in Tyler

We will look at the severity of your sleep apnea, your overall health, your lifestyle and any other relevant factors when we sit down to make a sleep apnea treatment plan for you in Tyler. Our goal is to get you back to enjoying a great night’s sleep every night. We might suggest that you make some lifestyle changes. These could be as small as trying to avoid sleeping on your back to losing weight or giving up cigarettes. Some people may benefit from a continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) device that helps then breathe while they sleep.

We believe that following up with you is as important as every other element of diagnosing and treating you for sleep apnea in Tyler. We can find out whether the sleep apnea treatment plan is working for you and what adjustments you may need.
