Lost Your Get-Up-and-Go? We’ll Help You Find It

    Posted: September 11, 2014

All men get exhausted from time to time. It may be caused by overwork, insomnia, stress, or even jet lag. However, it subsides when we give our bodies the rest it needs.

But what if you get enough sleep, and you still feel too pooped to party? Is there something wrong with you, or are you just getting old?

We hate to say it, but chances are there is something wrong with you. Growing old is a great excuse to mope around the house, but it’s not the cause of your constant fatigue.

Look around. You’ll see men much older than you with twice the zest for life you have, and a much more robust sex life than yours. What is their secret?

There is no secret because sex drive and stamina should serve a man well into his 60s, 70s, and beyond. The question is not, why do some men stay spunky for so long, but why do some men seem to lose their appetite for life? A strong libido is normal for men; it’s what makes a man a man.

When men experience a decline in their sex drive, it’s definitely cause for alarm. Here are some possible explanations for your low libido that have nothing to do with your age:

    Hypothyroidism

The symptoms of hypothyroidism, a condition caused by low levels of hormones in the thyroid, include muscle aches, extreme fatigue, thinning hair, and weight gain. Although hypothyroidism is more common in women, it affects tens of thousands of men in this country. If early symptoms are ignored, it can lead to goiter and heart disease.

    Depression

According to the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH), more than 6 million men experience depression each year – a staggering statistic. Symptoms of depression include feelings of sadness and hopelessness, difficulty concentrating, and a loss of interest in things you used to love — including sex. Depression is a treatable psychological condition that might be behind your low sex drive.

    Hormonal Imbalance

There’s a good chance your missing mojo is caused by a hormonal imbalance in your body, namely low levels of testosterone. This basic male hormone controls everything from your sex drive and sperm production to your energy levels and beard growth.

If low testosterone is to blame, Low T Center can help. We can help bring back the magic and physical stamina you’ve been missing for years.
