Low T Center has opened its eighth location at 4300 133rd St. in Leawood, Kansas. Low T Center will be the only all-male testosterone therapy clinic in the greater Kansas City metro area.

Currently, 13 million men in the U.S. over the age of 40 have low testosterone. Low T Center offers solutions for these men, whose symptoms typically include fatigue, decreased energy and strength, low motivation, weight gain, and diminished sex drive.

Testosterone injections can boost sex drive and energy while decreasing body fat, irritability, and depression. Research finds testosterone replacement can solve long-term health issues like Alzheimer’s and heart disease.

Low T Center is set up so a man can walk in, take a simple blood test, and know within minutes if he is a candidate for testosterone replacement therapy. Men who qualify will be given their first injection on the spot. They will return three times per month to receive follow-up testosterone injections.

Mitchell Poppe is overseeing the center. Dr. Steven E. Stevenson is the medical director. “This will really help a lot of aging men improve their quality of life,” Dr. Stevenson says.

President Mike Sisk created Low T Center out of a need. With all labs done in-house, “It’s the perfect medical practice for the busy guy,” Sisk says. “It’s a place where men can walk in, get treated, and be out the door as soon as possible.”
